Public housing is more than just a place to live, public housing programs should provide opportunities to residents and their families.
It defies common sense that stores are fined for selling toy guns to children, but someone who isn't even allowed to board an airplane in this country can purchase as many real guns he wants with no questions asked.
With my history, unfortunately, with my family suffering through gun violence, it's something that I feel passionately about, that even though the odds are certainly always uphill, that doesn't mean that I will stop fighting to try to change that.
If you can't take something down in 10 bullets, you probably shouldn't even own a gun.
Our pre-9/11 gun laws allow our enemies in the War on Terror to arm themselves right here in our own country.
