I am thrilled to get the chance to write comics – and to tell Forgotten Realms tales, to boot!
It's a trifle hard to surprise yourself with a story you've written.
I want to work with my friends because Canadian genre publishing is a really small pool.
I'm going to try to tell stories and let each tale skate its own way into dark or light territory as the needs of the story steer me.
When, who, and what things happen to becomes meaningful, then what happens starts to matter, and play can evoke strong emotions, fierce and ongoing urges to succeed, and a desire to leave a mark, drive meaningful change, or build lasting institutions.
Like great teams in sports and business endeavors, if there's a chemistry among the participants, and they truly enjoy fellowship together, everybody wants to be there, stay involved, and just have fun together.
Over the years, Forgotten Realms and gaming have taken me all over the world and made me all sorts of new friends.
